WILDFIRE NEWS OF THE DAY - 021213

An escaped campfire is being blamed for a one-acre wildfire last week in Larimer County, Colorado (1); while a bill to extend a tax credit to property owners who take steps to protect their homes from wildfires has passed in the House and now goes to the Senate (2); even as the Long-Term Recovery Group of Northern Colorado's office in Fort Collins, which assists wildfire survivors, announced new hours (3).
