San Diego spending $21M on new firefighting helicopter
San Diego city officials announced on Tuesday that they are spending $21 million on a new firefighting helicopter, which is required to return the city’s aerial firefighting capability to recommended levels after the retirement of a 43-year-old helicopter last July.
