Windy conditions increase wildfire risk in Tongass

The Forest Fire Management Officer for the Tongass National Forest warned campers, hunters and forest residents that dry, windy conditions heightened the wildfire danger across the region, which already experienced two small wildfires in the Juneau area earlier this year.
