Idaho firefighter injured in 2024 wildfire headed home after over a year of recovery

A wildland firefighter who suffered a traumatic brain injury when a tree struck him while fighting the Coffee Can Saddle Fire in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest in North Idaho in August 2024 is returning home following more than a year of recovery.
