California wildfires: $12.4 billion in insured losses and growing
California's Insurance Commissioner reported that wildfires last year caused at least $12.4 billion in insured losses, $11.4 billion of those losses being caused by the Camp Fire, the Woolsey Fire and the Hill Fire.
