Governor Newsom declared a state of emergency Wednesday night as nearly 6,000 fire personnel, supported by 520 fire engines, 141 water tankers, 75 bulldozers, 51 helicopters, and 9 fixed-wing aircraft battled three major wildfires burning across four Southern California counties.
