FIRES IN THE NEWS

The Washington Post related information on fires around the country today (Rain Hinders Effort to Fight Calif. Wildfires). With elevated temperatures and prolonged drought in many parts of the Southwest, it looks like it's going to be a long summer for firefighters, many of whom were sidelined by the heat during the fires in Souther California this past weekend. The urgency of getting more planes in the air to fight fires can't be overstated. So far, we've been lucky to have enough to go around. But in the future, who can say how many we'll need? If you're as concerned as I am, visit my website at Firebomber Publications and read more about what you can do to remedy this situation.
