Removing vegetation can help protect houses during wildfires

The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety released a report which states that buildings with high amounts of vegetation within five feet of the structure were destroyed in a wildfire 78% of the time, nearly twice as much as structures with less perimeter vegetation.
