NM Sen. Luján introduces three wildfire-related bills
Three wildfire-related bills have been introduced into the U.S. Senate this week which seek to limit the number of out-of-state companies that receive fire-related contracts; expand the use of technology to monitor nascent blazes; and require the federal government to pay 100% of costs in rare circumstances when a federally managed prescribed burn escapes into a wildfire.
