Computer models show heat waves in north Pacific may be due to China reducing aerosols
Though not technically a wildfire item, a study published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences speculated that China's efforts to curb certain air pollutants could actually be responsible for heatwaves across the Pacific in North America which have led to rampant wildfires in Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
