Hotshots working under an ‘unsustainable system’

Wildfire NOTD subscriber Hunter Bassler, a Journalist at Wildfire Today, discussed the first-ever review of the interagency hotshot crew program, conducted by the National Interagency Hotshot Crew Steering Committee, which found that hotshots have been working under an “unsustainable system” and recommended 50 changes to improve current conditions.
