Helena Aviation Center gets new tanks to help large firefighting aircraft
Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest officials announced that the Helena Aviation Center, which serves as an air-tanker base, has installed new pumps, and two 25,000 gallon tanks for liquid retardant, along with one new 25-thousand gallon off-load tank to more efficiently service VLATs.
