A team of engineers, scientists and conservationists are using the Earth Engine Automated Geospatial Elements Recognition (EEAGER) to map beavers' infrastructure across California as part of a joint venture between Google, The Nature Conservancy and the state of California to boost beaver populations in the state, reduce the impact of flooding and mitigate wildfires.
