Arson Cited in Nearly Half of Acres Burned in CA Wildfires

CAL FIRE officials reported that nearly half of the acreage burned in wildfires so far this year across the Golden State, roughly 475,000 acres out of 995,974 total acres, which is about four times more than the last seven years combined, involved suspected cases of arson.
