Palisades and Eaton wildfires 100% contained after nearly a month of burning
After nearly a month of destruction, smoke, and ash, CAL FIRE officials reported that the Eaton and Palisades fires, which killed at least 29 people, burned over 37,000 acres, and destroyed hundreds of homes in Los Angeles County, have finally been contained.
