New firefighting tool unveils in North County as Wildfire Awareness Month starts
Officials in San Diego's North County unveiled a new firefighting tool Tuesday, a 5,000-gallon HeloPod tank which, in addition to keeping wildfires at bay, also helps keep insurance costs for the city of San Marcos down due to the Class 1 ISO rating it provides.
