(1) As Wildfire NOTD heads into the sunset, subscriber Johann Goldammer, Director of the United Nations Global Fire Monitoring Center, sent along a reminder to Wildfire NOTD subscribers that the GFMC will provide a continuing service of publishing and archiving significant wildfire events and reports from around the world daily at their website, where they can find a summary of the 6th International Wildland Fire Conference, which concluded in Korea October 16th, with the Pyeongchang Declaration and the Conference Statement containing the recommendations of the global wildland community at that event, directed to the UNFCCC COP 21 in Paris later this year
