Eminent bushfire expert levels searing criticism at fire agencies

One of Australia’s most eminent bushfire scientists from Swinburne University of Technology published a new study in the journal Forest Ecology and Management which takes fire agencies and researchers to task for ignoring important forest fuel load fire science, using instead “erroneous” assumptions and “misinformation” from the 1960’s about forest floor fuel loads.
