Bill Gabbert’s death announced by his family

Wildfire NOTD subscriber Ron Steffens, Chairman of the Wildfire Editorial Board at Wildfire Magazine, conveyed the sad news that Bill Gabbert, founder of Wildfire Today/Fire Aviation and a friend and colleague to so many in the firefighting community, passed away Saturday night in his sleep in Senatobia, Mississippi.
