Following a very active wildfire season across the Northern Hemisphere, the international aerial firefighting community is figuring out strategies and tactics to address new challenges, most notably the threat of multiple simultaneous outbreaks, but the effort is still a work in progress, since expanding regional, national, and international firefighting fleets inevitably takes time.
