As wildfires become more prevalent, firefighters are turning to FLAIM virtual reality systems, developed by Deakin University's Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation, in Victoria, Australia, to help them prepare for future wildland blazes without having to risk life and limb in the process.
