Federal wildland firefighters make end-of-year push for permanent raises
With the stopgap measure which provided annual raises as large as $20,000 for wildland firefighters due to expire in mid-December, the National Federation of Federal Employees joined several other groups asking supporters to push their Congressional delegations to support a couple of measures that could make raises permanent.
