Fire burns 500 acres near Carlin
The 500-acre Emigrant Fire, which is burning southeast of Carlin, Nevada, required the intervention of thirteen engines and a Hotshot crew, supported by multiple aircraft, to bring the blaze to 50% containment by Wednesday evening.
