Carr Fire: National Park Service lists 19 lessons learned
A National Park Service review of the Carr Fire, which leveled over 1,000 homes and caused eight deaths, indicated that fire and forest officials mostly responded well to the blaze, but might have been better off assembling a more advanced team to fight the fire a day or two earlier than they did.
