Legislation aims to prevent wildfires

The Accelerating Collaborative Forest Ecosystem Restoration Act, which is designed to ensure federal land management agencies take proactive steps to reduce fuel available for wildfires on public lands, has been introduced in Congress in response to this summer's Gray and Oregon Road fires in Eastern Washington.
