Heavy Bay Area storm dumps rain, helps end North Bay wildfire season

After considerable rainfall in the San Francisco Bay area over the weekend, Santa Rosa Fire Department officials have declared an end to the 2023 wildfire season, though they warned that they could transition back to wildland preparedness if weather was to get warmer again.
