NFFE Secures Firefighters Permanent Fix to Wildland Firefighter Pay Cliff in House Continuing Resolution
The U.S. House of Representatives passed its version of a continuing resolution to fund government operations through the end of the fiscal year, which arrives on September 30th, including a long-awaited, permanent fix to the “pay cliff” issue that has threatened federal wildland firefighters’ wages for the past five years.
