Ventura County Engineer's Academy Training With DRAFTS
Wildfire NOTD subscriber Rich Sauer, a Fire Captain at Ventura County Fire Department, reported that Ventura County Fire had purchased two water-conserving units called DRAFTS - Direct Recycling Apparatus Firefighter Training System - which they are currently using in their 3 week Engineer's Training Academy, offering the following comments: "Every department should have them. They inspire in many ways. 1. Return to pumping and training 2. Saving tens of millions of gallons every year."
