Report: Prescribed burn decisions by NDF cause of Little Valley Fire
Wildfire NOTD subscriber Bill Middleton, a retired Assistant Chief with San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, sent along a story about a damning report on the 2,000-acre Little Valley Fire northwest of Carson City on Oct. 14, 2016, which rekindled from a controlled burn by the Nevada Division of Forestry a week prior, going on to destroy 40 structures including 23 homes.
