In Africa, forest authorities reminded residents of Gambia's Central River Region of the bushfire danger (18). A new study of the air quality in Perth, Western Australia, takes a look at the relationship between bushfire smoke and human health impacts (23). And finally, Tasmania Fire Service caused an uproar when they accidentally issued a bushfire emergency warning!
