The Forest Service Announces Wildland Firefighter Unification Feasibility Study Awardee. Study Results Are Expected In February Of 2027.
U.S. Forest Service has announced that the Research Triangle Institute will explore the feasibility of the incorporation of U.S. Forest Service wildland firefighters into the U.S. Wildland Fire Service, under the Department of the Interior.
