NAU Researchers Unveil New Wildfire Tracking Tool
The Treatment and Wildfire Interagency Geodatabase (TWIG), the most comprehensive resource of its kind, bringing together decades of fuel treatment records and wildfire data from across the U.S. into one interactive platform, has been developed by Northern Arizona University’s Ecological Restoration Institute, in partnership with two other Southwest Ecological Restoration Institutes.
