‘Everybody wants to help’: Firefighters from across Idaho fill in for Coeur d’Alene firefighters during funerals
More than 800 firefighters from around the U.S. have signed up to attend the funerals of two battalion chiefs who were killed in the ambush on Canfield Mountain, while over 70 firefighters from 16 fire departments across Idaho will take over shifts so that Coeur d’Alene firefighters can attend the ceremonies.
