Based on a review of 13 previous investigation reports from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program that involved WUI fires, our first article today looks at three actions fire departments can consider to reduce the risk to structural firefighters who respond to WUI fires.
