53 large wildfires burn across the U.S. amid heat wave threat

Despite the fact that 53 major wildfires are burning in California, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas, the National Interagency Fire Center warned Sunday that the worst may be yet to come, with the "potential for lightning followed by a heat wave across the northern half of the West."
