California, 1 of 5 states with most human-caused wildfires: NIFC
The National Interagency Fire Center reported that, so far in 2022, 29,827 wildfires have burned 2.6 million acres and 96% of them were caused by people, with the states of California, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida having the most human-caused wildfires.
