Rep. McClintock and Rep. LaMalfa Introduce Legislation Requiring the U.S. Forest Service to Immediately Suppress Wildfires

Wildfire NOTD subscriber Bill Derr, former Special Agent in Charge U. S. Forest Service, California Region for 18 years, with 20 previous years in fire management, sent along an item from Congressman Tom McClintock (CA-04) in which he and Congressman Doug LaMalfa (CA-01) introduced legislation directing the U.S. Forest Service to immediately suppress wildfires on National Forest System lands and put an end to the policy of letting fires burn.
