Wildfire NOTD subscriber Michael Rains, a former Deputy Chief of the U.S. Forest Service, sent along Revision 7.7 of his Call to Action with the following comments: "As predicted in the 'Call to Action', the 2021 fire season is shaping up to be horrific. We need to act now. I am urging my contacts in Congress to declare a national crisis. The 'Call to Action' outlines what is required. This annual destruction is insane. It does not have to be this way. If we embrace a 'campaign of our campaign', we can eventually break this cycle."
