California National Guard Using Predator Drone to Assist Firefighting Efforts
The California National Guard's 163rd Attack Wing, based at Riverside County's March Air Reserve Base, is deploying predator drones equipped with synthetic aperture radar to map wildfires even through smoke-filled skies, and send back real-time, high-definition video using infrared cameras.
