Report yields new details in 2014 Yosemite air tanker crash
Wildfire NOTD subscriber Janet Upton, Deputy Director of Communications at CAL FIRE, said that, although the NTSB revealed that the pilot of a CAL FIRE S-2T which crashed in Yosemite National Park in 2014 hit trees on his left while avoiding one on his right, the probable cause of the crash will be declared within about 45 days.
