WILDFIRE NEWS OF THE DAY - 081308

Leading off today’s wildfire news is an article forwarded to me by IL-76 air-tanker owner Dwight Barnell (www.firebombers.com) about ‘Forests for the Next Century’, an educational program timed to coincide with discussions elsewhere about the recent California wildfires. An article in Newsweek discusses the cost of the recent spate of wildfires, followed by one from Canada discussing ‘eyes in the skies’ for wildfire surveillance. Next up is a story from the Wall Street Journal on how inmate crews assist with firefighting. There was a summit in Sacramento today to discuss wildfires and how to prevent future conflagrations, while the Fort Carson fire in Colorado remained out of control. Two similar stories about upcoming services for firefighters killed in the S-61 crash follow. Wildfires are still giving firefighters headaches in Northern California, as the following two articles outline, and Associated Press has done another article on Yellowstone twenty years later. Next up, a discussion of Minimum Impact Suppression Tactics, or MIST, which are being put to the test in Mendocino National Forest. Finally, a story out of Turkey about plans for future wildfires in that region.

DWIGHT BARNELL IS A TOTAL FRAUD. He is a Defendant in more than 10 lawsuits seeking fraud claims against him. He is associated with TACTICAL AIR DEFENSE SERVICES INC, (ALEXIS KORYBUT )another company that has lawsuits against it for various fraud claims. GARY FEARS is his financier and is tied to organized crime through his gambling casinos. GARY FEARS prays on INDIAN-NATIVE AMERICAN entities that he uses as a front for his scams. He swindled the Seminole Tribe Florida ( HardRock Hotel-Casinos ) out of more than $50million dollars. I am sure they would love the "scalp" him for his activity.

DWIGHT BARNELL is a narfarious-white trash business cockroach. Do Not walk-RUN from Dwight Barnell, Alexis Korybut and Gary Fears if you happen to meet them.

The above is slanderous comment made by a former disgruntled employee, with court sanctions against him for his conduct. Unfortunately, in a free society, Google's policy is to leave such content, regardless of the damage or inaccuracies. This unfortunately allows people with agendas to turn a quality Blog like this into a weapon.

Actually, to the guy who made the comment above, don't blame Google! It's not Googles job to be an arbitrator of what is and isn't acceptable. In reality, the job falls directly to the owner of the Blog. You are correct; an unmonitored Blog is just an invitation for cyber terrorists to
hijack a topic. Most responsible bloggers watch out for it and make sure that doesn't happen to their site!
